Hi, I tried commenting but I don't think it went through (don't want to double post). I just wanted to say that I really like this story. I've actually always been a sucker for stories where the gender bent boy to girl squirms a bit without falling into either the '100% forever hate being stuck as a woman' or the 'oh no, anything but this... well, it's been 5 minutes and now I'm fine with being a bimbo' mode. It just seems to work really well when a story progresses a little slower and has the main character feel awkward, confused, and disoriented. It fleshes things out and makes everything feel more real.
And you did a great job of that, IMO. I normally never comment on tg caps and, tbh, tend to forget about a lot of the ones I see because on a lot of sites they're very repetitive. This one stuck with me though, and later in the day I found myself thinking about James and Sam. The story actually popped right back into my head & I started thinking 'what if' the second I saw this gif:
Basically, I immediately found myself thinking that it'd be fun if the story continued a month or so later with James and Sam still hanging out - Sam realizes he feels a pretty strong crush on James. Meanwhile James, being a teen girl, finds s/he is going through a growth spurt in the T & A department (pretty normal at that age for girls to fill out quickly). She's been wearing a mish mash of clothes from her little sister and another sister who has been away at college but now she's struggling to fit her full figured rear and plumper breasts into her big sis's clothes. So she goes shopping with Sam and finds herself flirting more and more with him after he opens the dressing room door to try to giver her phone back.
Maybe in the final part, it's been a year or two and James / Jamie & Sam are now a couple. Jamie realizes she might always occasionally have feelings of being just a little out of place in her new life. She knows she might always have slightly out of place feelings (maybe she still feels a slight compulsion to be almost gentlemanly to other women, to open doors when going places with female friends but doesn't feel attracted to them). At the same time, she realizes she's happy and that she's reached a sort of peace with her new life.
Anyways sorry to hit you with a wall of text, just wanted to say great job & offer my thoughts!

This is definitely the most thoughtful and articulated comment I've ever received, so thank you. And no one needs to apologize for long comments :) I welcome any and all thoughts.
I try to mix things up here, from the slapdash sexy fun to the thoughtful and character-driven type situations. I prefer the longer stories as well, and sometimes I come up with an idea that I want to take my time with, so I'm really happy that you're enjoying it. I'm really flattered that it kept you thinking throughout the day. It's definitely hard to write something meaningful in a short space.
I like your ideas. Very similar to the direction I wanted to take this, but you have some good thoughts that I want to try and incorporate.
