I think that Nikki was doing Mike's GF a favor by working out a way to show Mike how to please a woman by making him one. Maybe the Medallion is gone, maybe it's in a small safe somewhere. Maybe the new Mike decides to get rid of it after all is said and done.
I think Nikki was behind all of this . . . She insisted on using the medallion with Mike visiting. She turns herself in to her BF-John, then turns John into Mike (getting him out of the way by sending him off to bang Mike's GF who John has been lusting after for months) then turns Mike into her former female body. Once John is gone and it's just Mike-Nikki, the urges from Nikki's body and the attraction to Nikki in John's body is too strong. lol - Great twisty story.
