What neither also knew, was that if you get pregnant, you cannot swap back when you leave the island. Neither knew it, but Nick had assumed Claire was on birth control and Claire had assumed at 45, with no kids that Nick had been snipped. The new life growing in Nick's nieces belly was proof that of that.
